The Most Important Count of the DecadeSince 1790, our country has conducted a count of every household in America. The goal of the census is to count every single person, only one, and in the correct place. This includes how many people live or stay at each home, other demographics such as the age, sex, and race of each person.

$675 BILLION is at Stake!Every single year, more then $675 billion dollars are divided up in the form of federal funds, grants, and other support to states, counties, and community's. This money helps to provide funding for schools, hospitals, roads, public works, and other critically important programs. The determination of where to spend this money all relies on the count in the US Census report.
Furthermore, the nation's population, not wealth or land is what is used to divide political power in the country. If we are going to hold elected officials accountable, we must first, provide them with accurate numbers.
